Getting outside this month? Same. Here are three cool-temp staples we’re sweating for not in this July - and they’re made responsibly. When you really get down to it there’s nothing you need more then sun protection, sweat-wicking fabrics, and a skort that can outpace your ex.
First up we have a sun hoodie so light you’ll forget you’re wearing it. Which is great for the girls that hate long sleeves. It’s also the fastest way to join the Blue Man Group- so don’t get it twisted. See photo evidence below.
We love this one from Cotopaxi. It gives the best "I am technically in the shade" energy. It has thumbholes and is made from 100% recycled polyester.
For under this slong sleeve when you dip in the river and decide enough is enough its time to show your guns to the world - our next pick is the most non-shirt shirt we’ve ever found in our lives.
This shirt says “Yes, I just sweat through all my clothes moving mildly uphill but T god because I am gonna be dry in 4 minutes”.
I recently took this one out to climb a hill and show my guns to no one.
Our top pick is this one from Patagonia. Please note Murph dog is not a feed athlete she just is manifesting for the both of us. These tops are built from 52-100% recycled polyester and are made in a Fair Trade certified facility.
Lastly on Mary Alice’s wishlist we have this skort from a women-owned brand we are coveting, Youer. It’s made from 79% recycled polyester and other bio based fabrics. We didn’t know we needed a pistachio green skort until this one jogged by.
Stay Shady! Hydrate or die-drate Munger folks!
Outside of these three items here’s the news/ content we are reading this July.
Madison has been all consumed by the amazing women in trail running news. A favorite athlete of hers, Abby Hall, made an unreal comeback after breaking her leg in a freak accident less then two years ago, to wining this years Western States.
During her own injury, Madison turned to Abby’s mantra she used during her recovery “Close your eyes and become a mountain. Open your eyes and remain a mountain”. Thank you Abby <3 and congrats.
Mary Alice is currently reading Rich Girl Nation, and recommends it for anyone else looking to take control of their own financial literacy.
Thats all!
